PERFORMANCE CLINIC

FRISCO TX 2022

Winner IIDA Texas Oklahoma Chapter Excellence Award

Honorable Mention PaperCity Design Awards Commercial Category

The performance clinic, teaching outpost for a prominent chiropractic school in Dallas, combines sports medicine with industry-leading chiropractic techniques and experimental neurological therapies. Located in a medical office building, our team was tasked with the interior fit-out of a previously occupied suite.  Its program consists of two distinct zones: active treatment and quiet clinic. The design organizes around a circulation spine that subdivides the two zones. Warm wood flooring threads together the dual aesthetics of sterile clinic corridor and the industrial athletic rehab floor. Circulation paths are set up for patients to move freely between zones or enter each one independently. The project was awarded an Excellence Award in the Healthcare Small category by IIDA Texas Oklahoma Chapter in 2023.
